In Mark 4:26-29 Jesus tells a parable about a man who throws out seed. After he has planted the seed, the man can do nothing but wait for it to grow. As Christians we must be faithful to spread the gospel to the end of the earth, and "plant the seed" of God's word into the lives of those around us. After planting, we can only trust God to work on the hearts of men and give the increase in His time.
